Can an evaluation help determine if my child is ready for kindergarten?
Yes. A neuropsychological evaluation can help determine kindergarten readiness
by assessing the many skills involved in kindergarten success. For example,
your child’s general cognitive abilities, speech and language skills,
social and emotional functioning, attention capacity, and fine and gross motor
skills will be assessed. Based upon the results of the evaluation, appropriate
types of scholastic environments will be presented and discussed with the parents.
