What should I tell my child about the evaluation?
What to tell your child about the evaluation depends on how much he or she
can understand. Be simple and brief. We suggest that you do not tell them they
will be taking tests. Instead, explain that they will be doing puzzles, completing
pencil and paper exercises, and playing computer “games.” You may
also want to explain that this will help you understand how they best learn.
Most children find the evaluation interesting.
